Bruin Development Academy: Banking & Finance

The Bruin Development Academy: Banking & Finance is a 3-week training academy for success in the Banking & Finance industry. The BDA curriculum will cover strategies for success and then specific skills mastery training. The purpose of the program is to help students begin technical and behavioral preparation, and provide them the practical skillset to be successful in obtaining a job in the industry. Sessions are led for UCLA alumni and industry professionals.

There will be three 2-hour sessions in May.  Students who complete the program will have a vetted resume, recruitment process training, and an overview of concepts that help shape their thinking in the banking and finance setting.

INDUSTRY OVERVIEW SKILLS MASTERY
May 7, 6-8 p.m. Banking Resume
May 14, 6-8 p.m. Buy-Side / Investment Management Technical Skill Overview
May 21, 5-7 p.m. Finance Behavioral Interview

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students who attend all 3 sessions will be eligible to receive a staff job reference/LinkedIn recommendation, resume book inclusion, and a program completion certificate.

Students who miss 1 session will be provided only a resume book inclusion.

Students who miss 2 sessions will be excused from the program.
